Welder/Fabricator
$18 to $25 hourly based on experience
Topeka, KS

Welds and assembles metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment. Sets up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs and fixtures. Works from specifications, drawings and weld symbols. Prepares and completes work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding and cleaning metal.
Assembly Worker
$15 to $20 hourly based on experience

Harris Fabrication is seeking a skilled assembly worker to join our team. You will assemble metal parts and components into finished assemblies, read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accuracy, and take precision measurements for correct fit up and assembly of units.

Harris Fabrication is seeking experienced CNC Operators for general fabrication support. You will operate CNC laser and plasma cutting machines, brakes, and rolls, while providing support to the fabrication department. Must be technically adept, able to read blueprints, and committed to consistent quality and efficiency.
CAD Drafter/Designer
$20 to $30 hourly based on experience
Topeka, KS
We're seeking a CAD Drafter, CAD Designer, or 3D Modeler with strong skills in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Inventor) and hands-on knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, mechanical design, and industrial equipment layouts. If you’re technically inclined and skilled in creating accurate shop drawings, DXF files, and production-ready models, we want you!
CAD-CAM Programmer
$18 to $25 hourly based on experience
Topeka, KS
We're seeking a CAD-CAM Programmer to join our drafting and engineering support team. This role is ideal for someone with a drafting/CAD background who understands sheet metal, fabrication processes, nesting, and CNC functions, but prefers to work in an office-based, computer-focused environment rather than on the shop floor.
